The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bobby Haley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Haley is defended easily by Burrows.

Burrows leaves Haley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Haley or perhaps it was just good defense by Burrows which made him look bad.

Haley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Burrows swivels and escapes.

Burrows lands a big uppercut and Haley crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Haley looks OK. Burrows waves Haley back to his feet!

It looks like Bobby Haley has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
