Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Donald Brevik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
20 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Knock Out!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Out swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
An inside leg kick lands from Brevik.
Brevik moves into the clinch.
Out misses with a punch to the body.
Brevik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Out has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brevik finds it's way round the side to connect with Out's head.
Out gets tackled into the cage by Brevik. Brevik maintains the clinch.
Brevik will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Out up against the cage.
Out tries to work over Brevik's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Out wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brevik has him pressed against the cage.
Brevik connects with a knee to the head.
Out tries to break the clinch but Brevik is controlling the position.
Out is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Brevik breaks the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Out walks into a straight right hand from Brevik.
Brevik gets a clinch.
Brevik manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brevik slips under a jab from Out.
Brevik lands a front kick.
Out scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Brevik has Out up against the cage in a clinch.
Out throws a punch but it's blocked by Brevik.
A frustrated look appears on Out's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Brevik breaks from the clinch.
Brevik doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Out throws a right hand that Brevik ducks under and follows up with a left that Brevik also avoids with ease.
Brevik clinches.
Brevik creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Out's defenses.
Brevik blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Brevik lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Brevik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brevik is looking to score with low kicks.
Brevik throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brevik throws a quick inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brevik moves in looking to clinch but Out pushes him off.
Brevik scoring well with a low kick there.
A slapping leg kick lands for Brevik.
A combination from Out does no damage.
Out works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Brevik lands a big head kick that sends Out tumbling to the mat! Brevik takes a step backwards and waves Out back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Out is rocked!
Brevik connects with a right that clearly hurt Out. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Brevik proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Out collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donald Brevik!
A very excited looking Donald Brevik rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
