PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tomi Atomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machi Machiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atomi comes to the cage accompanied by Sonata Arctica - Tallulah. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Machiko throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Atomi missing with a left hand there. Machiko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Machiko throws a chopping leg kick but Atomi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Machiko tries to improve position but can't.

Atomi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Machiko parries the strikes from Atomi easily there. Atomi is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Machiko to escape.
Atomi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Atomi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Machiko keeps working.

Machiko stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Atomi has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Machiko manages to get his head free but now Atomi has transitioned to an armbar! Machiko grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Atomi! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
