The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindel tries to bum rush Rock with a series of wild strikes but Rock uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lindel thuds his right hand into Rock's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Tsa Rock has been cut.
Rock steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lindel.
Lindel misses the shot to the body.
Rock looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rock avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Lindel has managed to clinch.
Lindel lands a hook that snaps the head of Rock backwards.
Lindel is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rock is keeping busy.
Lindel misses with a punch to the body.
Lindel wants a takedown but no success here.
Rock is trying to force a seperation but Lindel has the dominant position.

Rock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Rock gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mikael Lindel wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lindel misses with a few strikes there.
Lindel jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rock dodges the punch combination from Lindel.
Rock lands a head kick!

It looks like Mikael Lindel has been cut.
Mikael Lindel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rock takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rock scores with a jab to the jaw.

Lindel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rock defending well as Lindel loads up on a big left hand.
Rock lands a nice hook to Lindel's body. Lindel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rock lunges at Lindel with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lindel's hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lindel darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lindel throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rock is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lindel throws a lazy right hand but Rock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rock keeps the fight on the outside.
Lindel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rock's waist but Rock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lindel off to one side.
Rock lands a head kick!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lindel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lindel bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rock's head.
Rock lands a glancing blow to the side of Lindel's head.

Lindel is rocked!
Tsa Rock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rock throws an overhand right that drops Lindel like a sack of potatoes! Rock dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
