The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyshenko goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kyshenko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kyshenko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gustafsson.
Gustafsson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kyshenko as he jumps to the side.

Gustafsson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kyshenko is trying to defend but Gustafsson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Gustafsson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kyshenko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Gustafsson winds up and cracks Kyshenko with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Viktor Kyshenko has been cut.

Viktor Kyshenko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
