The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson cracks Van der Wilde with a right hand to the side of the head.

Van der Wilde takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Van der Wilde uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Swanson has time to react.
Swanson misses with the combination.
Swanson lands with an overhand left.
Swanson lands a two punch combo.
Van der Wilde throws a shot from downtown. Swanson moves away and avoids it.

Van der Wilde throws a hook but Swanson avoids it easily.
Swanson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Van der Wilde has time to react.

Swanson throws a right and a left that both miss.

Van der Wilde fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Swanson manages to avoid it.
Swanson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Van der Wilde moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Van der Wilde throws out a loose jab but Swanson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Swanson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Swanson works over Van der Wilde's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Kuyt Van der Wilde has been cut.
Van der Wilde misses with a double jab
and Swanson counters with a series of strikes. Van der Wilde will be more careful next time no doubt.
Swanson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Swanson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Van der Wilde.

and Swanson counters with a huge left! Van der Wilde is in big trouble! He's backing up but Swanson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Van der Wilde from any more damage. A dominating finish by Swanson!
