Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ringo Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johannes van Bruggen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is i Get Knocked Down, But i Get Up Again. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spar lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Spar throws a looping overhand right but van Bruggen ducks down to avoid it.
Spar takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
An inside leg kick lands from van Bruggen.
Spar throws a hook to the side of van Bruggen's head but van Bruggen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Spar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Spar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. van Bruggen tries to avoid it but Spar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag van Bruggen to the ground. van Bruggen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

van Bruggen goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Spar wants to take the fight to the mat but van Bruggen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
van Bruggen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Johannes van Bruggen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

van Bruggen feints and as Spar raises his hands in defense, van Bruggen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
