Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Macena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo comes to the cage accompanied by Polkas y Huapangos - Los Dos Laredos. Ricky Ricardo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricky Ricardo !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Macena!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macena will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Macena shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ricardo as he jumps to the side.
Ricardo feints and as Macena raises his hands in defense, Ricardo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ricardo passes Macena's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ricardo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ricardo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Macena defends it well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Macena can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ricardo trying to control the action but Macena is working from the bottom.
Ricardo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Ricardo working over Macena with some ground and pound. Macena looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ricardo drops an elbow to the side of Macena's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Macena wants to get back to his feet.
Ricardo performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Ricardo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Ricardo content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Macena is trying to stand back up but Ricardo is controlling him
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ricardo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Macena is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ricky Ricardo !
