PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Straight Flush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusko Casic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Casic has chosen Debauchery - Blood For The Blood God as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Straight Flush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dusko Casic!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casic takes one to the side of the head.
Casic gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Casic throws a big shot that misses.
Flush fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Casic manages to avoid it.
Casic jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Flush looks to land a left hand but Casic moved out of range nicely.
Flush keeps the fight on the outside.
Casic misses with a double jab.

Flush looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flush seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Flush takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Flush is controlling the pace.
Flush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Flush drops an elbow to the side of Casic's head.
Flush frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Flush cracks Casic with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Flush is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Flush controlling the position easily from mount.
Flush fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Flush breaks from Casic's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Flush controlling the pace for now.
Flush in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Casic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Flush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Flush lands a big shot there that rocks Casic but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Casic in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Casic is desperately trying to improve his position but Flush has a good base and remains in mount.

Flush trying to control but Casic is having none of it.

Casic is rocked!
Flush postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Casic in real trouble here! The ref calls for Casic to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Straight Flush!
A less than humble Straight Flush misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
