Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Kole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pete Kole could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roan King's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kole moves away.
Kole fails with the takedown
and King counters by moving into the clinch.
King manages to break the clinch.
Kole tries to clinch but King moves away
and King counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
King controlling from the top position.
Kole throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! King escapes and throws Kole's legs to the side, diving into side control!
King advances nicely into full mount.

Kole is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kole tries to hold on but King pushes him away.
King seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Kole is holding on tight.

It looks like King might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
King is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kole is just riding it out for now. King eventually gives up the hold.
Kole wants to control but King is keeping busy and won't allow it.

King throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
King wants to pass to mount but Kole is defending the position.
King is thwarting Kole's attempts to control the position.
Kole tries to kick King off but King keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Kole is refusing to be controlled, as King sits in half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
King clinches up with Kole and pushes him back against the cage.
Kole wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

King thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Kole fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but King avoids it really well and circles away.

and King counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kole's guard now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kole tries to lock up and control but King gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

King takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
King can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kole is looking to escape.

King is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kole has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kole!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kole is looking to stand up but King won't let him.

King is refusing to be controlled, as Kole sits in half guard.
King keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Kole is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Pete Kole.

Kole throws a head kick that misses.
Kole doesn't succeed with the takedown
and King decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kole's guard.
King trying to control but Kole is working from the bottom.
King's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kole is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Roan King has got the better of the ground game so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Roan King.
King dives in and scores a takedown into Kole's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kole is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. King is aware though and is defending well.

King slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kole is looking to control King's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kole avoid being mounted?
King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kole does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Roan King wasn't active enough on the ground.
Kole throws a left and a right that both miss
and King counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kole's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
King stays in close to Kole's body and controls the position.
King has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
King takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
