Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angus MacAskill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Angus MacAskill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brad Stout!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Stout does no damage.
Stout takes a swing at MacAskill's ribcage but misses.
Stout misses with a body shot.
MacAskill takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
MacAskill shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stout but Stout pushes him off and we're back to square one.

MacAskill bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stout regains half guard, as MacAskill was trying to land strikes.

MacAskill throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
MacAskill throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Stout is trying to stand back up but MacAskill is controlling him

Stout has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of MacAskill is proving hard to escape from.

Stout stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stout wants it to stay on the feet.

MacAskill manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stout on his heels. He'll look to pass Stout's guard now, I'm sure.
MacAskill postures up in Stout's guard and throws a big left but Stout blocks it.

MacAskill postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
MacAskill throws an elbow that misses. Stout uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in MacAskill's guard. Nice move by Stout!

Stout gets to his feet. MacAskill looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
MacAskill keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stout.

A looping hook to the body misses from Stout. MacAskill does a little dance to reset his feet.

MacAskill shoots in for a double leg but Stout sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Stout lands a big right hand that sends MacAskill crashing to the mat! Stout stays standing though and waves MacAskill back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
MacAskill fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Stout darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! MacAskill's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Stout before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brad Stout!
Our winner, Brad Stout, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
