PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Da Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Sisko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sisko has chosen Crooked (Remix) by the Bassbin Twins as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Da Coach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andreas Sisko!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Sisko.

Coach pushes Sisko up against the cage in a clinch.

Sisko breaks the clinch.
Sisko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Coach's sensitive parts.
Sisko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coach's waist but Coach gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sisko off to one side.

Coach rushes Sisko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sisko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sisko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Coach's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Coach avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sisko in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Sisko lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Sisko working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sisko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Coach is keeping the position for now.
Sisko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sisko throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Sisko controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Sisko postures up in Coach's guard and throws a big left but Coach blocks it.
Sisko wants to control from the top but Coach keeps moving.
Sisko scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Coach keeping moving, preventing Sisko from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sisko pushing down on Coach's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Sisko not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Sisko works his way into full mount!
Sisko throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Coach because Sisko loaded up on that one.
Sisko trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Sisko thowing shots but they're missing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sisko scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coach is trying to stand.
Poor strikes thrown by Sisko there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Sisko throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Sisko punching from mount but Coach doing a good job of avoiding damage.
BOOM! Sisko connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Sisko with shots to the head and body - Coach looks very uncomfortable down there.

Sisko throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Sisko moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Coach has worked his arm free - good work by Coach!
Sisko misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Coach parries the strikes from Sisko easily there. Sisko is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Coach to escape.
Coach takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Sisko throws an elbow but Coach slips to the side and avoids it well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Coach takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Sisko tries to score with some ground and pound. Coach controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andreas Sisko dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Sisko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sisko throws a looping overhand right but Coach ducks down to avoid it.
Sisko pushes Coach away with a front kick.
Sisko shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Coach defends it nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Sisko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Coach clinches up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Coach goes for a takedown attempt but Sisko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sisko shoots in but Coach avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Da Coach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Sisko.
Sisko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Coach was well out of range. Poor timing from Sisko.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sisko connects with a single shot there.


It looks like Da Coach has been cut.
Sisko scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Coach doesn't seem bothered though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sisko shoots in looking for a takedown but Coach manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sisko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sisko cracks Coach on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Coach falls backwards against the cage. Sisko follows up with more strikes that drop Coach to his knees. Sisko keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Coach! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andreas Sisko!
