Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alan Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Einstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alan Belcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Albert Einstein! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Einstein clinches up with Belcher and pushes him back against the cage. Einstein gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Einstein seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Belcher does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Einstein stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Einstein shoots for a takedown but Belcher saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Einstein drives through with a takedown into guard. Einstein prevents Belcher from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Einstein drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Belcher manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Einstein has Belcher in his guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Einstein has his feet on Belcher's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Einstein throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Belcher tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Einstein is in Belcher's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Einstein would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Einstein looks winded! Einstein wants to control from the top but Belcher keeps moving. Einstein with a flurry of punches that miss. Belcher tries to land a sweep but no joy. Einstein has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Belcher is proving hard to escape from. Belcher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Einstein gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Einstein prevents Belcher from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Einstein slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Belcher is trying to control the position but Einstein postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Belcher throws a hook to the side of Einstein's head but Einstein sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Belcher misses with a takedown attempt - Einstein sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Einstein shoots in looking for a takedown but Belcher manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Einstein's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belcher throws a sloppy head kick and Einstein moves out of range easily. Einstein closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Belcher quickly recovers to half guard. Einstein is working for a submission of some sort.

Einstein is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Belcher sees it coming and defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Einstein thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Belcher's head. Belcher keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Einstein is working away from the top position though. Belcher tries to roll over but Einstein keeps him under control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Einstein uses his free foot to push down on Belcher's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Belcher. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Albert Einstein dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Belcher is defended easily by Einstein. Einstein keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Einstein tries for a takedown but Belcher sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Einstein closes the distance and clinches up with Belcher, looking for a takedown. Einstein pushes Belcher against the cage but Belcher circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Belcher is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Einstein tries to close the distance and clinch up but Belcher swats him away and circles back towards the center. No luck with that takedown attempt from Einstein. Alan Belcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Albert Einstein. Einstein is breathing heavily.

Einstein shoots in looking for a takedown but Belcher manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Einstein's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Einstein keeps the fight on the outside. Einstein displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Belcher throws out the jab. Einstein tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Belcher manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Belcher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Einstein pinned against the cage. Einstein gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Belcher swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Einstein tries for a takedown but Belcher sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Einstein fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Belcher, pushing him back against the cage.

Einstein scoring with punches to the head and body. Belcher looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Einstein trying to control the position from guard on top but Belcher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Belcher is trying to control the position but Einstein postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Einstein wants to control from the top but Belcher keeps moving. Einstein sitting in guard, not really doing much. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Albert Einstein has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Belcher throws a jab but it's blocked by Einstein. Einstein misses with a low kick.
Belcher stuffs the takedown attempt from Einstein. Einstein gets slowly back to his feet. Belcher looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Einstein!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Belcher looking to finish with strikes here!
Belcher prevents Einstein from getting the reversal. Belcher trying to control but Einstein is having none of it. Einstein manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Einstein, under a barage of strikes from Belcher.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Albert Einstein will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Belcher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
A head kick misses from Einstein. Einstein shoots in for a double leg but Belcher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A telegraphed right hand from Belcher misses the target. Belcher fails to land the takedown. Belcher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Einstein tries to avoid it but Belcher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Einstein to the ground. Einstein escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Belcher with a poor takedown and Einstein counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alan Belcher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Belcher misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Einstein closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Einstein gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Einstein is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Einstein drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Einstein jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Einstein lands a couple of digs. Einstein trying to control the position from guard on top but Belcher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Belcher trying to keep a closed guard but Einstein is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Einstein stopping the sweep attempt from Belcher. Einstein stands up and waves to Belcher to follow him. Belcher tries to sprawl but Einstein drives through with a takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Einstein scoring with strikes to the body and head. Einstein slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belcher has a hand on Einstein's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Einstein takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Einstein landing shots from mount. Albert Einstein is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Einstein unloading with bombs! Einstein gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Einstein fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Belcher looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Einstein fails to land the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Einstein enables Belcher to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Einstein manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Belcher has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Belcher won't allow Einstein to sweep him here. Einstein is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Einstein content to control rather than advance. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alan Belcher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Einstein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Belcher keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight! Albert Einstein comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Einstein has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
