And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Power Ranger darts in and clinches Jarlsberg up against the cage.
Power Ranger working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Power Ranger lands a body punch.
Power Ranger unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Power Ranger scores a nice knee to the body.

Power Ranger makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Power Ranger with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Power Ranger has Jarlsberg pressed against the cage.
Jarlsberg drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Power Ranger gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jarlsberg is looking to take this one to the mat.

Power Ranger is stalling here.
Power Ranger throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Power Ranger creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Jarlsberg takes a knee to the side of the body.
Power Ranger stops a takedown attempt from Jarlsberg.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fridtjof Jarlsberg. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jarlsberg has Power Ranger pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Power Ranger manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jarlsberg takes a shot to the head.
Jarlsberg is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Power Ranger pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Power Ranger gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Power Ranger has Jarlsberg pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Jarlsberg is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Power Ranger - that's hurt Jarlsberg badly! Oh, another knee lands and Jarlsberg is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Jarlsberg doesn't seem to be complaining.

After the fight, Ultimate Power Ranger was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
