Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takeo Kiyoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sander Cool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeo Kiyoshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sander Cool!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cool throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kiyoshi swinging wildly here.
Cool throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kiyoshi blocks a jab.

Cool has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kiyoshi is trying to break the clinch but Cool has him pressed against the cage.
Cool effectively controlling the action here.

Cool gets control of Kiyoshi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cool will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Cool looking to control.
Cool tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kiyoshi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kiyoshi drops back looking for a leg! Cool is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cool manages to kick Kiyoshi off! Kiyoshi jumps back into Cool's guard.

Cool looking for a guillotine here but Kiyoshi defends easily.
Kiyoshi won't allow Cool to get back to his feet.

Cool striking off his back but it's not causing Kiyoshi any problems.
Cool looking for a sweep. Not yet Cool, not yet.
Kiyoshi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Cool can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kiyoshi controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Takeo Kiyoshi.
Cool looks to land a combination but Kiyoshi avoids it well.

A nice inside leg kick there by Cool. That's going to slow Kiyoshi down.
Cool shoots in for a takedown but Kiyoshi shows good takedown defense.
Cool takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kiyoshi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kiyoshi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cool.
Kiyoshi is breathing heavily.

Cool closes the distance and pushes Kiyoshi back into the cage.

Cool jumps into guard, dragging Kiyoshi to the mat.
Kiyoshi postures up.
Cool looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Cool manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kiyoshi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cool on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cool controlling the position easily from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sander Cool dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Cool has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cool has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kiyoshi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Kiyoshi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Cool is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kiyoshi to the mat. Kiyoshi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Cool trying to control but Kiyoshi is working from the bottom.
Kiyoshi has momentary wrist control but Cool slips an elbow through the middle.

Cool avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cool is in close to Kiyoshi's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Cool stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Cool throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cool scores with a three punch combo!


It looks like Takeo Kiyoshi has been cut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kiyoshi tries to keep at a distance but Cool has taken the fight into the clinch.

Cool pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cool is adopting a defensive guard.

Cool throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Cool controls Kiyoshi momentarily but Kiyoshi frees himself.

Cool tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cool is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kiyoshi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cool is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Sander Cool has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Cool closes the distance and clinches.

Cool pulls guard.
Cool is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kiyoshi stopping the sweep attempt from Cool.
Cool has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Cool is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sander Cool showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Cool clinches with his opponent.

Cool manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Cool is trying to control the position but Kiyoshi postures up.
Kiyoshi trying to control but Cool is working from the bottom.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Cool wants to stand but Kiyoshi is controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Takeo Kiyoshi wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Kiyoshi lands a body shot.
Kiyoshi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cool tries to avoid it but Kiyoshi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cool to the ground. Cool escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kiyoshi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cool can pounce on him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Nice takedown defense from Kiyoshi. No joy for Cool on that attempt.
Cool stalks Kiyoshi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kiyoshi's face. Kiyoshi staggers backwards, shaken.
Sander Cool seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kiyoshi has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cool misses with a series of wild punches.
Kiyoshi works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cool leaves Kiyoshi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cool swats away the attempt to clinch by Kiyoshi.
Cool wants to clinch.
Takeo Kiyoshi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Cool closes the distance and clinches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Still in the clinch, Cool scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kiyoshi is trying to break the clinch but Cool has him pressed against the cage.

Cool has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kiyoshi clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Can Kiyoshi hold on?! Cool is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Cool has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Kiyoshi's body.
Kiyoshi tries to break free.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Good control from Cool.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sander Cool comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cool has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
