Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between AJ Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Varg Veide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foster comes into the arena with I Still Believe blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veide fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Foster shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Veide is trying to defend but Foster finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Foster trying to mount his opponent but Veide defends it.
Foster performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Veide is not content to let Foster control the position.
Veide really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Foster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Foster content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. AJ Foster wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Foster blocks the body kick.
Veide walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Foster checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Veide jabs Foster right on the nose. Foster blinks but takes it well.
Veide digs a good body shot into Foster's ribs.
Foster on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Foster moves into the clinch successfully.
Foster has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Veide clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Foster is cranking Veide's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Veide! He's tightened the choke and Veide is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). AJ Foster!
An out of breath AJ Foster thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
