Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brodus Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Hogin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogin has chosen real american as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clay moves away.
Clay misses with a jab, cross combination.
Clay throws a shot from downtown. Hogin moves away and avoids it.
Hogin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Hogin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hogin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Hogin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Clay slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Clay thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Clay has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Hogin is trying to escape the mount.
Clay trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hogin tries to lock up and control but Clay gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hogin is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hogin sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hogin is trying to stand back up but Clay is controlling him
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Clay escapes and gets back to his feet.

A close round but Hulk Hogin will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Hogin throws a head kick but Clay moves out of range.
Clay throws a nice looking combination but Hogin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Clay throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hogin moves out of range as Clay strikes.
Hogin moves forwards but Clay connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hogin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Clay tests Hogin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Clay ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hogin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Clay.

Clay gets caught flat footed, as Hogin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Clay is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hogin wants to get back to his feet.

Hogin tries to roll over but Clay keeps him under control.
Clay thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hogin's head.
Hulk Hogin has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hogin tries to get to full guard but Clay has control of the leg.

Clay stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Hogin to get to his feet.
Clay avoids the head kick by Hogin.

Hogin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Clay throws out the jab.
Hogin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Clay to score with a decent uppercut.
Clay throws a nice inside leg kick.

Hogin throws a jab but it's blocked by Clay.
Hulk Hogin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clay misses with a low kick.
Hogin shoots in but Clay avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Clay lands a lovely overhand right.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clay stuffs the takedown attempt from Hogin. Hogin gets slowly back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hogin is defended easily by Clay.
Brodus Clay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hulk Hogin.
Hogin is breathing heavily.
Clay moves into range and connects with a jab.

Hogin throws a head kick that misses.

Hogin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hogin feints a jab promting Clay to slip. Hogin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Clay slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Brodus Clay has been cut.
Hogin tries a head kick but it misses.
Clay jabs Hogin to the body, keeping him at a distance.

and Clay connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hogin throws a lazy right hand but Clay sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Clay is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Clay cracks Hogin with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Clay has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hogin to stand back up!
