Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abraham Isaac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reico Vanlaque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Abraham Isaac has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isaac wants to clinch up but Vanlaque keeps it at a distance.
Isaac stuffs the takedown.
Isaac tries to bum rush Vanlaque with a series of wild strikes but Vanlaque uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Vanlaque closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Isaac is trying to stand.
Isaac is looking to improve his position.

Vanlaque is looking for a kimura but Isaac is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Vanlaque to get the leverage.

Vanlaque drops back looking for a leg! Isaac is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Isaac manages to kick Vanlaque off! Vanlaque jumps back into Isaac's guard.

Isaac is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Isaac has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Vanlaque clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Vanlaque manages to reverse the position and now he's in Isaac's guard. Nice work there by Vanlaque.

Isaac had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vanlaque is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Isaac Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vanlaque's back instead.
Isaac is trying to stick to Vanlaque's back but Vanlaque is turning into Isaac. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Isaac's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Vanlaque.

Isaac throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Vanlaque blocks it with crossed arms.
Vanlaque tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Isaac smiles and moves away.
Isaac throws a front kick that sends Vanlaque stumbling back into the cage.
Vanlaque throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Isaac's waist but Isaac gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vanlaque off to one side.
Abraham Isaac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reico Vanlaque.
Vanlaque looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Isaac is fending him off so far but Vanlaque persists. Nope, Isaac circles away and we're back to standing.
