Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandar Stojanovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Borg will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borg ducks under a wild hook from Stojanovic.
Stojanovic shoots for a takedown but Borg saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Stojanovic.
Borg will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Stojanovic swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Borg counters with a straight right hand.

Stojanovic has managed to clinch.
Stojanovic jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Borg walks away with a smile on his face. Stojanovic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Stojanovic shoots for a double leg takedown but Borg sprawls well. He's pushed Stojanovic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleksandar Stojanovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Borg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stojanovic misses with a low kick as Borg jumps back.

Stojanovic shoots in but Borg avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Stojanovic moves in looking to clinch but Borg pushes him off.
Borg defending well as Stojanovic loads up on a big left hand.
Stojanovic takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Stojanovic is breathing heavily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Borg.

Oooooh!!! Borg has knocked Stojanovic down with a huge combo! Borg steps away and waves a wobbly Stojanovic back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Borg throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Oh Stojanovic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Stojanovic. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Stojanovic dives in and grabs Borg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Borg pushes down on Stojanovic's head and hops out.
Stojanovic seems to have got his legs back now.

Borg cracks Stojanovic with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Borg has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Stojanovic to stand back up!
Stojanovic looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Borg scores with a leg kick.
Borg scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Stojanovic tries to clinch but Borg is having none of it.
Borg throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stojanovic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Borg throws out a powerful jab.
Stojanovic on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Stojanovic takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Stojanovic shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Borg feints with a jab and clips Stojanovic right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Stojanovic is sent crashing into the canvas and Borg leaps in for the kill! Stojanovic tries to get to his feet but Borg is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Stojanovic is in need of a savior and steps in!
