Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Death Above (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Lee acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Death Above!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Lee!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Above wants to clinch.
Above tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Above really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Above wants to clinch but Lee slips to the side
enabling Lee to counter with a crisp jab.
Death Above seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Above wants to clinch.
Above tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range.
Above blocks a low kick nicely.
Above tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Above sprawls well initially but Lee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Lee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bruce Lee was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Above moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.

Above gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lee is trying to maintain a safe position but Above gets an underhook and turns Lee into the cage.
Lee keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Above's efforts to push away.
A frustrated look appears on Above's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Above wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Above prevents it.
Above can't get the takedown.

Above's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Lee counters with a shoot takedown. Above fights it but they end up in guard.
Above controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Above's guard.

Above working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Above keeps working.
Lee wants to free his trapped foot but Above is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bruce Lee wasn't active enough on the ground.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Above enables Lee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Above manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Above escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bruce Lee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Bruce Lee has got the better of the ground game so far.
Above wants to sweep but no luck.
Lee passes Above's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Still in half guard, Lee seems content to control.

Let's hope that Lee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bruce Lee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Above slips a straight right by Lee.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
