The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuzmins gets the takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Harry tries to bench press Kuzmins off him but Kuzmins keeps the position.
Harry can't do much from the bottom here.
Harry is looking to regain half guard here but Kuzmins keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kuzmins is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harry is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Harry is not content to let Kuzmins control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kuzmins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Harry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Harry is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kuzmins's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Harry is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kuzmins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kuzmins's back!

The referee warns Kuzmins that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Kuzmins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harry sprawls well initially but Kuzmins persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
