The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuusivirta with a poor takedown
and Hattingh counters with a nice uppercut.
Hattingh dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hattingh connects with a body shot that sends Kuusivirta's belly button to the back.
Kuusivirta doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hattingh is looking to slow Kuusivirta down with leg kicks.

Kuusivirta is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Kuusivirta forces Hattingh back against the cage and clinches.
Kuusivirta is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Hattingh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hattingh closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hattingh lands in his opponent's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of George Hattingh.
Kuusivirta fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hattingh avoids it really well and circles away.
George Hattingh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalle Kuusivirta.

Hattingh wobbles Kuusivirta with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Hattingh dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Kuusivirta to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
