The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tuppy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Sailo Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tuppy pulls his head out easily.
Sailo Jr pushes Tuppy off looking to stand but Tuppy dives back in and keeps control.

Tuppy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sailo Jr on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sailo Jr has his foot on Tuppy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tuppy works his way back into a safe position though.

Tuppy fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sailo Jr to the ground. Tuppy is now in Sailo Jr's guard.

Tuppy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sailo Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tuppy has managed to get both his arms back between Sailo Jr's legs - danger averted.

Sailo Jr is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Sailo Jr has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tuppy defend it? Sailo Jr steps over the head and cranks it - Tuppy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sailo Jr!
