Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance.
Anderson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Anderson moves to clinch but Brown breaks away

and Brown moves into the clinch.

Brown gets control of Anderson 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Brown will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderson wants to stand but Brown is controlling his posture from full guard.

Brown shoots in looking for a takedown but Anderson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brown's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Brown counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Anderson tries to kick Brown off in order to stand up. Brown Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anderson lands a left and a right that send Brown crashing to the mat, dazed. Anderson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jackie Brown has been cut.

Brown jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anderson walks away with a smile on his face. Brown gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Anderson tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance.
Brown looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anderson .
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A nice inside leg kick there by Anderson . That's going to slow Brown down.

Anderson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brown was covering up waiting for the punch and Anderson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Anderson wants to get up but he can't break Brown's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

John Anderson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
