Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alpa Chino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chino is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by E.B.A.H.. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Alpa Chino was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maxwell Hardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alpa Chino!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chino takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Chino slips under a jab from Hardy.
Hardy throws a hook but Chino blocks it.
Hardy scores with a nice right hand.
Chino fails to land with a series of punches.
Maxwell Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hardy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hardy throws the kick towards the body but Chino avoids it.
Chino loads up on a big right hand but Hardy slips the punch.
Hardy slips a jab from Chino.
Hardy jabs Chino right on the nose. Chino blinks but takes it well.
A lazy left from Chino finds it's target.
Chino has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hardy finds it's way round the side to connect with Chino's head.
Nice uppercut lands for Hardy. That snapped Chino's head back.
Hardy takes a swing at Chino's ribcage but misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hardy lands a leg kick that knocks Chino off balance momentarily.

Chino rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hardy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hardy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Chino.
Chino takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hardy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hardy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Chino dips to his left and cracks Hardy with an uppercut!

and Chino counters with a nice body shot.

A slapping leg kick lands for Hardy.
Chino looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hardy slips a jab and a cross from Chino.
Chino thows a body shot but no joy.
Hardy lands with an uppercut that bounces Chino off the cage and back into range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Chino counters with a thumping low kick.
Chino swings away with a body shot that misses
and Hardy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hardy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hardy is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The crowd cheers as Hardy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chino doesn't seem phased though.

Chino swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hardy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Chino's knee momentarily.
Hardy lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hardy throws a head kick that Chino semi-blocks.
Chino checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hardy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hardy, right into the meat.
Chino tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Chino has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hardy.
Chino takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hardy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A combination from Hardy does no damage.
Chino takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Chino's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Hardy tries to score with a low kick but Chino moves his leg out of the way.
Chino closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hardy to the mat! Hardy manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Chino looking to sit in guard and control but Hardy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Chino manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Chino thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Chino sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Hardy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maxwell Hardy dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hardy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chino.

A jab lands there for Hardy.
Chino slips under a jab.
Chino sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hardy misses the jab.
Hardy jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hardy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chino doesn't seem bothered though.
Hardy jabs Chino right on the nose. Chino blinks but takes it well.

and Chino cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Maxwell Hardy has been cut.
Maxwell Hardy is winning the standup battle so far.
Hardy digs a good hook to Chino's body.
Chino throws a shot from downtown. Hardy moves away and avoids it.
Hardy staying out of range there.
Chino moves out of range of the leg kick from Hardy.

Chino misses with a low kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Hardy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Chino takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hardy lands with an overhand left.
Chino checks the leg kick nicely there.
Chino ducks right into an uppercut from Hardy.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Hardy.
Hardy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hardy tries to land a front kick but Chino steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Chino uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hardy.
Hardy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hardy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Alpa Chino is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Chino throws a right hand that Hardy ducks under and follows up with a left that Hardy also avoids with ease.
Chino shoots in and drives through. Hardy sprawls well.

Chino is breathing heavily.
Chino misses with a few strikes there.
Hardy lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Hardy cracks Chino with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Chino falls to his knees and Hardy doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
