Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wanderley Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Trades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rizzo closes the distance and clinches up with Trades, looking for a takedown. Rizzo pushes Trades against the cage but Trades circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jack Trades seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horrible takedown by Rizzo or perhaps it was just good defense by Trades which made him look bad.

Rizzo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Rizzo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trades is just riding it out for now. Rizzo eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Trades is on top in guard.
Trades seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Trades drops back looking for a leg! Rizzo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rizzo manages to kick Trades off! Trades jumps back into Rizzo's guard.
Trades must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rizzo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Trades might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rizzo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Rizzo shoots in looking for a takedown. Trades tries to sprawl out of it but Rizzo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Trades manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rizzo wants to improve his position but instead Trades has moved into half guard.

Trades decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Trades fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rizzo on the side of the head.

Rizzo has control of Trades's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Trades regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Trades has his takedown stuffed

so Rizzo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Rizzo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Trades manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rizzo has Trades in his guard.

Trades lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Trades throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Rizzo has his hands clasped together but Trades breaks the hold and Rizzo is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Trades!
