Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nikola Tesla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tesla's entrance music is AC/DC's Thunderstruck. A fine choice. Flynn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kanye West- Amazing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nikola Tesla is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tesla lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Flynn dives in and grabs Tesla's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tesla pushes down on Flynn's head and hops out.
Tesla stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tesla wants it to stay on the feet.
Flynn takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Flynn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tesla sprawls well. Tesla wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Flynn gets slowly back to his feet.

and Tesla makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Flynn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tesla eats them both and turns towards Flynn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Flynn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tesla dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Flynn fails with a takedown attempt.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tesla.
Flynn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Flynn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Frank Flynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Flynn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Flynn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tesla pinned against the cage. Tesla gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Flynn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tesla throws a combination. Flynn tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Flynn throws a head kick but Tesla moves out of range.
Flynn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tesla's waist but Tesla gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Flynn off to one side.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Flynn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tesla - the referee stops the clock and Flynn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tesla. Flynn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Flynn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tesla to score with a decent uppercut.
Tesla connects with a nice looking jab.
Tesla buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Flynn is trying desperately to land a takedown but Tesla is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Flynn.
Flynn shoots in for a double leg but Tesla sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Flynn takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tesla catches Flynn with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Flynn's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Flynn fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Flynn goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tesla has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Flynn but great work by Tesla.

Flynn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tesla on his heels. He'll look to pass Tesla's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tesla, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
