Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nanaki Yotomishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Nanaki Yotomishi has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Nanaki Yotomishi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Miller!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yotomishi misses with a head kick.
Yotomishi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Miller.
Miller shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Yotomishi counters with a nice leg kick.
Miller keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Yotomishi.

Yotomishi closes the distance and pushes Miller back into the cage.
Yotomishi lands a body shot in the clinch.
Yotomishi misses with a body punch.
Miller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Miller working aggressively here.
Yotomishi tries a body shot but Miller blocks it.

Miller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt.
Nanaki Yotomishi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Miller.

Miller shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Yotomishi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Yotomishi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Yotomishi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Miller stacks Yotomishi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Miller!
Yotomishi is looking for a sweep.
Miller is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Yotomishi will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Miller works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Yotomishi sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Yotomishi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Yotomishi makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Yotomishi throws a combination. Miller tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Miller stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yotomishi.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yotomishi lands a leg kick that knocks Miller off balance momentarily.
Yotomishi slips a jab and a cross from Miller.
Good leg kick by Yotomishi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Miller swats away the attempt to clinch by Yotomishi.
Yotomishi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Miller's sensitive parts.

Yotomishi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Miller throws a sloppy head kick and Yotomishi moves out of range easily.
Yotomishi is looking to score with low kicks.
Yotomishi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Yotomishi misses with a wild combination.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Miller wants to clinch up but Yotomishi keeps it at a distance.

Yotomishi closes the distance and clinches.
Miller is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Yotomishi misses with some punches.
Miller tries for a takedown but Yotomishi manages to get underhooks.

Yotomishi tries to throw a body punch but Miller avoids it by throwing Yotomishi back against the cage.
Yotomishi misses with a hook to the ribs.
Miller is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Yotomishi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Miller is trying to pull guard but Yotomishi has him pressed against the cage.
Miller wants to take the fight to the mat but Yotomishi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yotomishi misses with a punch to the body.

Yotomishi has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Miller clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Miller staying busy and making it hard for Yotomishi to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nanaki Yotomishi dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Yotomishi connects with a leg kick. Miller looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yotomishi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Miller drives through and clinches with Yotomishi against the cage.
Miller jumps guard but Yotomishi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Yotomishi misses with a body punch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Yotomishi.
Miller working hard to break the clinch.
Yotomishi lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A left hand lands to the body for Yotomishi.
A left hand lands to the body for Yotomishi.
The referee calls for Yotomishi to work.
A left hand lands to the body for Yotomishi.
Yotomishi gets through Miller's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Miller tries to pull guard but Yotomishi won't allow it.

Yotomishi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Millers head.
Yotomishi lands with a right to the head.
Yotomishi goes for a takedown in the clinch but Miller prevents it.

Yotomishi can't find room to land a body shot as Miller controls the action.
Miller fails to pull guard.

Yotomishi misses with a punch on the inside.

Miller gets control of Yotomishi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Miller will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Miller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yotomishi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Yotomishi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Miller keeping full guard, as Yotomishi tries to pass.
Miller striking off his back but it's not causing Yotomishi any problems.
Miller wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Yotomishi is now in half guard.
Miller is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yotomishi with the ground and pound but Miller uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Miller looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yotomishi is one step ahead there.
Yotomishi trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Miller has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Yotomishi has passed into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Miller tries to improve position but can't.

Yotomishi is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Miller is trying to escape and Yotomishi transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Miller is forced to tap! Nice work there by Yotomishi! Very nice indeed!
