The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wupaski misses with a right hand
and Deckard makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Deckard shoots for a double leg takedown but Wupaski sprawls well. He's pushed Deckard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wupaski throws a hook to the side of Deckard's head but Deckard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wupaski wants to land a leg kick but Deckard is out of range.
Wupaski misses with a straight right.
Deckard avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boris Wupaski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wupaski throws a series of punches but Deckard avoids them all with ease.

Deckard looks to land a combination but Wupaski avoids it well.

Wupaski throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Deckard on the side of the head.

Wupaski loads up on a big right hand but Deckard slips the punch.
Wupaski throws a leg kick which misses Deckard's front leg but catches the back leg as Deckard tries to avoid it.
Wupaski throws a shot from downtown. Deckard moves away and avoids it.
Deckard moves forwards but Wupaski connects with a nice, crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Deckard takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Deckard throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wupaski.
Wupaski throws a big shot that misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wupaski darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Deckard misses with a low kick.
Deckard throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wupaski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Deckard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wupaski.
Deckard gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Deckard slips a jab from Wupaski.
Wupaski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Deckard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wupaski's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Deckard tries to free his leg and advance position but Wupaski is retaining full guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Wupaski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Deckard is one step ahead there.

Deckard frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Deckard thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Wupaski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Deckard on the ground.

Deckard unloads with some shots from mount but Wupaski bucks and avoids them well.

Wupaski wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Deckard.

Deckard thowing shots but they're missing.
Deckard lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Deckard is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wupaski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wupaski shrugs it off.

Deckard throws a chopping leg kick but Wupaski manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wupaski throws a combination. Deckard tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Deckard slips a straight right by Wupaski.
Deckard is pawing at Wupaski, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Wupaski's nose. Wupaski is badly hurt! Deckard pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Wupaski tries desperately to hold on but Deckard is relentless in his assault! As Wupaski receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Deckard away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Deckard!
Rick Deckard decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
