Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marco Rivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rafael Santos!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera moves in looking to clinch but Santos pushes him off.
Marco Rivera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rivera tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Santos paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Santos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rivera is sitting in close to Santos's body. Santos has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Rivera is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rivera is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Santos.
