PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uno Decaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decaf throws a hook but King blocks it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
King tries to clinch up but Decaf circles away and keeps his distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Decaf.
David King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Decaf is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by King.

Decaf tries to keep at a distance but King has taken the fight into the clinch.
Decaf wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Decaf tries for a takedown but King manages to get underhooks.
Decaf tries to pull guard but King won't allow it.
David King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uno Decaf.

King drives through and clinches with Decaf against the ropes.
Decaf tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. King smiles and moves away.
Decaf misses with a few strikes there.
Decaf throws a jab when King was well out of range.

King moves into the clinch.
Decaf can't break the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by King.
King lands a right hand.

It looks like Uno Decaf has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Decaf backwards.
King scores with a shot to the side of Decaf's head.

King stalling in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Decaf's face as he tries to break the clinch.
King throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Decafs head.

Decaf is rocked!
King has a couple of punches blocked by Decaf.
Decaf is still on wobbly legs! Can King finish him?
King misses with a short punch on the inside.
King misses with some punches.
Decaf seems to have recovered his senses.
King stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Decaf looks winded!
King pushes Decaf back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
King effectively controlling the action here.
King creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Decaf's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Decaf drops to his knees and King pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

David King bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
