Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Funk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Von Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Funk could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Von Hammer's chin.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Funk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hammer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Funk somewhat.
Funk tries to close the distance and clinch but Hammer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hammer throws a right hand that Funk ducks under and follows up with a left that Funk also avoids with ease.
Hammer scores with a jab to the jaw.
Funk on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Good shot there by Hammer.
Hammer tests Funk's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hammer tries to bum rush Funk with a series of wild strikes but Funk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hammer throws the left hand but Funk avoids the punch easily.

Funk dives in and grabs Hammer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hammer pushes down on Funk's head and hops out.

Frank Funk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer throws a series of punches but Funk moves out of range.
Funk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hammer is fending him off so far but Funk persists. Nope, Hammer circles away and we're back to standing.
A combination from Hammer does no damage.
Funk has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hammer finds it's way round the side to connect with Funk's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hammer throws a hook but Funk avoids it easily.
Funk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hammer's waist but Hammer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Funk off to one side.
Funk tries for a takedown but Hammer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hammer might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Funk shoots in looking for a takedown. Hammer tries to sprawl out of it but Funk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hammer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hammer lands with an uppercut that bounces Funk off the cage and back into range.

Funk dives in and scores a takedown into Hammer's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Funk wants to control from the top but Hammer keeps moving.

Funk wants to pass the guard but Hammer is keeping the position.
Funk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Funk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Funk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Funk postures up in Hammer's guard and throws a big left but Hammer blocks it.
Funk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Funk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Hammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Funk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hammer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Von Hammer dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Funk's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hammer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Funk scrambles back to his feet.
Oh Funk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Funk doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Funk shoots in but Hammer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hammer swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Funk.
Funk is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Hammer just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Funk has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Von Hammer!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Von Hammer waved his t-shirt featuring Ganja's Warehouse (95% Laundering)'s logo in front of the cameras.
