Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Katana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think George might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Return of the Mack . Katana has chosen Baby got back as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matthew George!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Katana!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George misses with a two punch combination.
Katana swats away the attempt to clinch by George.
George looks to land a combination but Katana avoids it well.
George tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

George throws a left and a right that both miss
and Katana connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

so Katana counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

George wants to stand up but Katana is controlling him.

That was a close second round but I would say that Matthew George will probably get the nod.
