The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackenzie cracks Stabler with an open hand slap.
Stabler tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mackenzie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mackenzie throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mackenzie shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Stabler eats them both and turns towards Mackenzie to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Stabler blocks a jab.

Mackenzie lands a right hook to the body.
Stabler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mackenzie swivels and escapes.

Stabler gets a clinch.

Stabler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mackenzie lunges at Stabler with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Stabler's hand.

Elliot Stabler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mackenzie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stabler moves away.

Stabler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mackenzie defends it nicely.

It looks like Nathan Mackenzie has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mackenzie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Mackenzie wants to get back to his feet but Stabler passes into half guard.
Mackenzie is trying to escape back to his feet but Stabler uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Mackenzie is breathing heavily.
Stabler cracks Mackenzie with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Mackenzie is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stabler in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Mackenzie looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Stabler turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Elliot Stabler decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
