Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolay Ignatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nikolay Ignatov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Dunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolay Ignatov!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignatov throws a series of strikes that have Dunn backpedaling.
Dunn tries to clinch but Ignatov moves out of range.
Ignatov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dunn throws a leg kick that misses.
Nikolay Ignatov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ignatov scores with a three punch combo!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dunn shoots for a takedown but Ignatov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ignatov takes the fight into the clinch.
Dunn fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dunn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ignatov walks away with a smile on his face. Dunn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Dunn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dunn is looking to clinch.
Ignatov is looking to clinch but Dunn is avoiding it.

Dunn looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ignatov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ignatov keeping moving, preventing Dunn from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dunn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ignatov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dunn forces his way into half guard.
Dunn throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Ignatov wants to get back to full guard.

Dunn is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ignatov is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
