The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Karelin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Alex Karelin has been cut.
Redfern fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Karelin on the side of the head.
Karelin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Redfern moves away.
Karelin shoots for a double leg takedown but Redfern sprawls well. He's pushed Karelin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Karelin swings for the body but Redfern moves out of range.
Redfern gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Redfern doesn't manage to clinch there - Karelin circles away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Karelin lands with a shot to the body.
Redfern lands a leg kick that knocks Karelin off balance momentarily.
Redfern scores with a decent looking hook.
Redfern connects with a looping right hand.
Redfern fakes the leg kick and cracks Karelin in the body.
Redfern moves in looking to clinch but Karelin pushes him off.
Karelin on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Redfern comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Karelin looks winded!
Karelin shoots for a double leg takedown but Redfern sprawls well. He's pushed Karelin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Karelin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Redfern cracks Karelin with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Karelin falls to his knees and Redfern doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
