The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bu tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bu to the ground. Bu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Davis. Bu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bu throws out a leg kick but Davis moves out of range and Bu only half commits.
Davis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nice takedown defense from Bu. No joy for Davis on that attempt.
Davis shoots in and drives through. Bu sprawls well.
Gum Bu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spike Davis.
Bu chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Davis looks winded!
Bu lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bu moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Davis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Bu looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bu thuds his shin into the meat of Davis's side.
A head kick by Bu - that's a beauty! Davis is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Bu can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
