Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Koscheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koscheck is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Til I Collapse By Eminem ft Nate Dog. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Campbell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Koscheck has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Campbell has managed to get both his arms back between Koscheck's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Campbell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Koscheck looks for a takedown but Campbell sprawls well.
Campbell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Koscheck.
Koscheck throws the left hand but Campbell avoids the punch easily.

Koscheck might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Campbell does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Koscheck uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Campbell has time to react.
Koscheck shoots in for a takedown but Campbell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Campbell lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Koscheck has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Koscheck and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Koscheck crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Campbell - the referee stops the clock and Koscheck gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Campbell. Koscheck manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

It looks like Ross Koscheck has been cut.
Campbell throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Koscheck is still on wobbly legs! Can Campbell finish him?

A slapping leg kick lands for Campbell.
Campbell tries to land a front kick but Koscheck steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Koscheck seems to have recovered his senses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Koscheck walks straight into a right hand from Campbell - that's dropped him! Campbell jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Koscheck from any more punishment! Koscheck complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
