The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Reid's half guard.

Reid is looking to control Torres's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Reid avoid being mounted?

Torres looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Reid with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Torres is looking to take a break and control but Reid is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Torres lands a big elbow - Reid is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Torres!
