Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Vinci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francis Vinci struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Lucas Rodriguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Francis Vinci!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Vinci tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rodriguez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rodriguez moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Good work by Vinci as he checks the leg kick.
Vinci avoids the body shot from Rodriguez.
Francis Vinci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vinci on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vinci. Rodriguez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vinci shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rodriguez but Rodriguez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rodriguez lands a slapping body shot.
Vinci fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rodriguez avoids it really well and circles away.
Rodriguez misses with a low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vinci gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rodriguez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lucas Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francis Vinci.
Rodriguez misses with a low kick as Vinci jumps back.
Rodriguez thuds a left hand into Vinci's body.

Rodriguez avoids the body shot from Vinci.
Vinci wants to clinch but Rodriguez slips to the side
and Rodriguez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Vinci is rocked!

Rodriguez closes the distance and clinches.
Vinci fails to pull guard.
Vinci jumps guard but Rodriguez stands there with Vinci around his waist. Vinci gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rodriguez lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Vinci to his knees! Rodriguez keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
