Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patches Meech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patches Meech has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Foster!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Foster moves into the clinch.
Meech tries for a takedown. No joy.

Foster turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Foster manages to end up in side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Meech is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Foster off and has taken his back!
Foster finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.

Meech jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Foster manages to avoid the submission attempt.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tony Foster hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Foster drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Meech is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Foster keeps control of Meech as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Meech tries to work over Foster's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Foster ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Foster no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Let's hope that Foster has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Meech shoots in and drives through. Foster sprawls well.

A looping hook to the body misses from Foster. Meech does a little dance to reset his feet.

Meech closes the distance and clinches up with Foster, looking for a takedown. Meech pushes Foster against the cage but Foster circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Foster is pressed up against the cage. Meech has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Foster down to the mat. Foster avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Meech tries to lock up and control but Foster gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Meech is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Foster gets his way!

Foster is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Meech with him. Meech is trying to defend but Foster has an arm under the chin now! Meech grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Tony Foster really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that ANABOLIC 160Q and LAUNDRY 90% logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
