The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Octopulus lands a big head kick that sends Njord tumbling to the mat! Octopulus takes a step backwards and waves Njord back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Njord is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A good leg kick by Octopulus.
Njord is still on wobbly legs! Can Octopulus finish him?
Octopulus lands a nice looking kick to the body. Njord takes a step back to recover.
Njord looks winded!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Octopulus.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Octopulus, right into the meat.
Octopulus ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Octopulus closes the distance looking for a takedown. Njord stuffs it but Octopulus still has hold of him. Octopulus picks Njord up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Octopulus slams Njord to the floor and that's really hurt Njord - he doesn't know where he is! Octopulus throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

A relieved looking Jimmer Octopulus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
