Quiao kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Motto - Drake Ft. Lil Wayne and Tyga. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Houses.
Quiao connects with a body shot.
Houses tries to clinch
and Quiao counters with a straight right hand.

Houses drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Houses stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quiao swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Quiao looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Houses looking to sit in guard and control but Quiao gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Quiao trying to control the position from guard on top but Houses is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Houses is trying to control the position but Quiao postures up.

Quiao moves nicely into side control.

Houses attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Dave Houses seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quiao misses with a series of wild punches.
Houses shoots in looking for a takedown but Quiao manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Houses's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Quiao connects with a right hand. Houses shakes it off.
Houses wants to clinch but Quiao slips to the side
and Quiao counters with a nice uppercut.
Quiao moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Houses is rocked!

and Quiao counters with a crisp right that sends Houses to the canvas! Quiao follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
