Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Humphrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Throttle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kendall Humphrey has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kendall Humphrey seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kendall Humphrey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Throttle!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Throttle gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Throttle digs a right hand underneath Humphrey's ribcage. Humphrey let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Throttle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dick Throttle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Throttle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Humphrey did well to prevent Throttle getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Throttle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Throttle seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Humphrey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Dick Throttle has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Throttle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Throttle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Humphrey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Throttle's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dick Throttle hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Throttle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Humphrey but Humphrey pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Throttle gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Throttle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Humphrey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Throttle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Humphrey gets to his feet. Throttle looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Humphrey stuffs the takedown attempt from Throttle. Throttle gets slowly back to his feet.
Throttle darts in and clinches Humphrey up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Throttle has picked Humphrey up - he's going for a ride! Throttle dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Humphrey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Throttle as he avoids it easily.
A head kick misses from Throttle.
Humphrey gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Throttle to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Humphrey pushes Throttle off and scrambles back to his feet.
Humphrey shoots for a double leg takedown but Throttle sprawls well. He's pushed Humphrey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Humphrey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Throttle fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Humphrey to the ground. Throttle is now in Humphrey's guard.
Throttle stands and steps away. Humphrey gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Throttle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Throttle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Humphrey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Throttle pinned against the cage. Throttle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Throttle drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Throttle is staying tight to Humphrey's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Well Throttle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Dick Throttle was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
