Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darius Jones!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.
Moore misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Darius Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moore slips under a jab from Jones.
Moore tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes.
Moore fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Some wild striking there from Jones.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moore moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moore.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Moore swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Moore shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.

Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Jones wants to clinch up but Moore keeps it at a distance.
Moore fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Moore persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Moore is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Moore moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moore controls the position from side control.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moore wants to take a breather but Jones manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Moore.
Moore controls from within his opponent's guard.
Moore is standing up over Jones. Jones looks to escape but Moore dives into side control.
Jones looks gassed!

Jones tries to buck Moore off but Moore is having none of it.
Moore landing a few strikes.
Jones is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore scores with punches from side control.
Moore is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Moore is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jones looks calm but he's in trouble here. Moore gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jones is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Moore lets go of the hold and Jones can pop his arm back in it's socket.
