The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabianski misses with a double jab.
Fabianski forces Vasquez back against the cage and clinches.

Vasquez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fabianski pulls his leg out and moves away.

Vasquez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Vasquez tries to pull guard but Fabianski holds him up against the cage and eventually Vasquez drops back down to his feet.

Fabianski is pressed up against the cage. Vasquez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fabianski down to the mat. Fabianski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Vasquez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fabianski is looking to clinch but Vasquez is avoiding it.
Fabianski tries to clinch but Vasquez moves out of range.
Vasquez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fabianski to the mat! Fabianski manages to get full guard.
Vasquez advances position into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vasquez in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Fabianski is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
