Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Blick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Simpson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Simpson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johan Blick!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blick feints and as Simpson raises his hands in defense, Blick changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Simpson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Blick is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Blick won't allow Simpson to sweep him here.
Blick is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Blick stands up over Simpson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Blick trying to control but Simpson is working from the bottom.
Blick stays in close to Simpson's body and controls the position.
Simpson has his foot on Blick's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blick works his way back into a safe position though.
Blick is stalling in the full guard.
Blick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simpson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Blick drops back looking for a leg! Simpson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Simpson manages to kick Blick off! Blick jumps back into Simpson's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simpson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Simpson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Blick gets a takedown into half guard.
Blick works his way into full mount!
Blick controlling his opponent.
Blick working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blick trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Blick scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Blick looking to control but Simpson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Blick is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Simpson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Simpson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Blick anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Simpson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Blick slips an arm under Simpson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Blick has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Blick is squeezing on Simpson like an anaconda would it's prey. Simpson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Johan Blick!
