Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Peterwhacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Su Nami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nami has chosen New York as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nami avoids a punch combination nicely.
A punch combination from Peterwhacker misses.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Peterwhacker looking for a takedown.
Nami swings wildly with an uppercut but Peterwhacker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nami throws a head punch that misses.
Nami lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Peterwhacker lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Nami avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Peterwhacker.
Peterwhacker passes the guard and advances to mount!
Nami can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peterwhacker scoring with strikes but Nami is staying in there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nami is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Nami manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Peterwhacker passes to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Peterwhacker with shots to the head and body - Nami looks very uncomfortable down there.
Nami wants to hold on but Peterwhacker pushes him away.
Peterwhacker landing strikes from the mount.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nami is in a horrible position here. Peterwhacker smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Nami is rocked!
Peterwhacker loads up with a big shot that hurts Nami! He's pulled Peterwhacker in close but Peterwhacker has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Nami survive? More strikes from Peterwhacker and Nami is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Michael Peterwhacker!
