The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saunders swats away the attempt to clinch by Bondevik.
Saunders throws a nice looking combination but Bondevik bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bondevik throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Saunders keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bondevik tries to clinch up.
A punch combination from Saunders misses.
Bondevik shoots in and drives through. Saunders sprawls well.
Saunders throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Saunders keeps the fight on the outside.
Saunders misses with a series of wild punches.
Bondevik wants to clinch.
Bondevik tries to close the distance and clinch up but Saunders swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bondevik fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bondevik shoots in looking for a takedown. Saunders tries to sprawl out of it but Bondevik keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saunders manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trygve Bondevik. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bondevik throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Saunders fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Saunders darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Trygve Bondevik has been cut.
Saunders misses with a double jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bondevik looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bondevik is defended easily by Saunders.

Saunders lands a big head kick that sends Bondevik tumbling to the mat! Saunders takes a step backwards and waves Bondevik back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bondevik is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bondevik doesn't manage to clinch there - Saunders circles away.
Bondevik closes the distance and clinches up with Saunders, looking for a takedown. Bondevik pushes Saunders against the cage but Saunders circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Saunders will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bondevik. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Bondevik wants to clinch.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Saunders.
Bondevik is breathing heavily.
Saunders avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Some wild striking there from Saunders.
Saunders steps in with a hook that catches Bondevik right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Saunders follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Bondevik looks absolutely devastated.
