Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Bashor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Falaris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falaris is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Single Ladies - Brazilian Version. Marcus Falaris is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Falaris!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bashor shoots for a double leg takedown but Falaris sprawls well. He's pushed Bashor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Nice sprawl there from Falaris as Bashor shoots in.
Bashor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Falaris is fending him off so far but Bashor persists. Nope, Falaris circles away and we're back to standing.

Falaris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bashor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

No joy there for Bashor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Falaris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Falaris throws a lazy right hand but Bashor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Falaris pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Falaris moves in looking to clinch but Bashor pushes him off.

Falaris gets caught flat footed, as Bashor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bashor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Falaris swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bashor won't allow Falaris to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcus Falaris dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Falaris stuffs the takedown attempt from Bashor. Bashor gets slowly back to his feet.
Falaris tries a head kick but it misses.
Falaris tries to land a front kick but Bashor steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Falaris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bashor paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Falaris pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bashor back to the cage. Falaris follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Bashor fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Falaris clinches up with Bashor and pushes him back against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bashor has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Falaris after a bit of a struggle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Falaris tries to escape but Bashor is in control.
Falaris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bashor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bashor is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Falaris has escaped the position, nice work there.

Bashor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
